Muay Thai Training
in Bellevue, WA
Authentic Muay Thai under Siam No.1 lineage. Structured coaching for beginners, serious practitioners, and competitors on the Eastside.
The Art of Eight Limbs
Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport and one of the most complete striking systems ever developed. Fists, elbows, knees, and kicks — coordinated through rhythm, timing, and controlled pressure. It's not raw aggression. It's applied technique built over time.
At Warrior Strength, we teach Muay Thai the way it was built to be taught: technically, progressively, and with respect for the tradition. Conditioning is earned on the mats. Timing develops over reps. You don't rush it — you build it.
Whether you're a complete beginner in Bellevue looking for your first class, or a competitive fighter sharpening your game, the curriculum here meets you where you are. Our students commute from Redmond, Kirkland, Newcastle, Mercer Island, Issaquah, and Sammamish — because quality instruction is worth the drive.
What Authentic Muay Thai Training Looks Like
Structured Fundamentals First
Every class starts with a technical foundation — stance, guard, footwork, and basic strikes. Complexity is added only when the foundation is solid. No skipping steps.
Pad Work & Technical Drilling
Pad rounds are a core part of every session. You'll develop timing, combination flow, and power mechanics through repeated technical drilling with a trained partner or coach.
Controlled Sparring Culture
Sparring is introduced progressively and is never mandatory. When you're ready, it is controlled, technical, and coached — not a survival session. Ego has no place here.
Traditional Culture & Respect
Wai Kru, respect for training partners, and adherence to Muay Thai's traditions are part of how we train. The culture of the art is not separate from the technique.
Conditioning Through Training
You don't train to get fit and then start Muay Thai. You get fit through Muay Thai. The conditioning comes as a direct result of consistent, technical practice.
Progressive Skill Development
Our curriculum is structured to take beginners through a clear progression — from basic combinations to clinch work, sweeps, timing drills, and beyond. Development is measurable.
Where Our Muay Thai Comes From
Our Muay Thai program is rooted in the lineage and experience of Kru Yai Belton Lubas, whose training was developed through years of direct immersion in traditional Thai Muay Thai systems and high-level competition coaching.
Today, Kru Yai Belton serves as the WBC Muay Thai State Director for Washington and has coached athletes at both national and international levels as part of Team USA Muay Thai. That experience shapes how our program is taught — from fundamentals and padwork to fight IQ, conditioning, and culture.
This is not commercialized cardio kickboxing or trend-driven striking. Our curriculum is built on authentic Muay Thai methodology, pressure-tested through real coaching experience, competition, and continued connection to the traditions of the art.
The lineage matters because it provides a verifiable foundation. What we teach is structured, intentional, and rooted in a respected Muay Thai tradition that values discipline, timing, balance, and technical precision.
